How much can we expect to pay for that extra bedroom?

1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 bedroom, who can decide?! Well your wallet may be the one thing that can. If we are just looking at the North Shore of Long Island, you are looking at a median price tag of $285,479 per bedroom. Now, this obviously isn’t set in stone, but over the past 60 days this is what the sales are showing us.

WFH is going to cost you a little more when you are searching for that perfect home office.

How do you use this information?

While the exact difference between a 3 bed, 2 bath and 4 bed, 2 bath might not be exactly $285,479, but you should expect a significant jump if the houses are in a similar location and have comparable upgrades/finishes. It is not a science, but it’s good to know how much extra you are willing to spend for that extra bedroom.
